Summer Reading 2021

Summer Reading is coming to the Belmont County District Library! Open to children of all ages, "Tails and Tales” is all about animals and features new activity bags and scavenger hunts every week between June 7th and July 16th. This year’s program also includes a 12 book reading challenge for children ages 0-5 years and 5 years and older. Complete the challenge to win a prize bag and book!

 Babytime and Storytime are also being offered between June 6th and July 16th, but attendance is not required to participate in Summer Reading.

 Babytime, aimed at children 6 to 24 months, is offered at the Martins Ferry Public Library on Thursdays at both 10am and 11am and the Shadyside Public Library on Mondays at 10am.

Storytime, designed for children 2 years and older, is offered at the Martins Ferry Public Library on Tuesdays at 1pm and Wednesdays at 11am, the Bethesda Public Library on Fridays at 10:30am, the Bridgeport Public Library on Tuesdays at 1pm, the Powhatan Point Public Library on Mondays and Thursdays at 11am, the Shadyside Public Library on Mondays at 5pm and Tuesdays at 11am, and the Victoria Read Public Library on Mondays at 11am.
